Mission
Mission Statement
What is a mission?
The mission of the church, like the mission of any organization, is that which defines what we do because of who we are. We have adopted a mission statement and revised it a few times in recent years. A mission statement should always remind us of where we are headed, of how we are to live as a community. We do not intend it to be fixed, so we call it a "working" mission statement, and expect to continue to revisit it on a regular basis. We welcome all for Christian worship, fellowship, and service, trusting God to transform our lives and the world.

Parish goals for 2011
We have discerned these goals for the year 2011, to help us return to and more fully pursue our mission:
Discipleship: We will follow Jesus in ways that set our hearts on fire
and empower us to love God and our neighbor.
Capital Plan & Campaign: We will maintain and improve the property
entrusted to us, so that we may use our gifts of land and buildings to inspire
and to invite others to experience God's presence in this place.
Communications: We will improve internal and external communications
to invite and encourage members and guests to share in our common life.
