We welcome all for Christian worship, fellowship and service, trusting God to transform our lives and the world.

Education is central to our capacity to grow as disciples of Jesus and to live out our Baptismal Covenants. At Church of the Epiphany, we believe very strongly that our whole lives are spent growing in the knowledge and love of God, and that our work forming ourselves as Christians is never done.

10351375_642816939122616_2935764109944913556_nOur primary Christian Education time takes place on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. We offer Christian formation classes most Sundays from September to June for all ages. We currently host several Bible studies, including one that meets on Thursdays at 10am at Seven Stars Bakery in Rumford to discuss the coming Sunday’s Scripture readings.

From time to time we also host evening and weekend programs. These may include worship, supper, small groups, and an educational program or service project for children and adults.

Although Epiphany benefits from a strong Christian Education program, we believe that the most important Christian Education actually takes place outside of Sunday morning: as people find ways to recognize and love God in their daily lives — in the joys and challenges of family life, in the workplace, in regular prayer and study of scripture. The programs we offer at church seek to equip every member of the church to grow daily in the knowledge and love of God.1395832_539372276133750_1763101048_n
