Dear friend,

"Father, Son, and Holy Spirit"--- the Trinity, a wonderful mystery of love and personhood; our experience of God. Trinity Sunday "wraps up" the first half of the Christian Year, which began at Advent and concludes now with God in total majesty.

What is your picture of God? There have been many, but all really point to the fact that we don't know what God looks like. We can begin to know what God does: creation, incarnation (taking our human nature in Jesus), sending the Holy Spirit. These help. But I believe the key for us is growing to sense relationship: how God loves, how God cares, reaches out. How God seeks after us - as Father, as Son, and as Spirit. Our faith adventure is to grow in that relationship. That's a lifetime of work, but what a great adventure it is. What a journey for us to make together. May the "Holy, Glorious, and Blessed Trinity" fill your days with joy.

Ned Gammons
